VRTRON Malta just released A Night in The Forum, an educational environmental narrative game, based on scientific reconstructions, that uses PlayStation®VR to magically immerse you in the world of Augustan Rome. Your story starts off with a little capricious trespassing in The Forum ruins. But things soon magically derail into a night-long adventure as a mysterious voice guides you back in time and into the shoes of a Roman military standing guard in The Forum.

“Octavian – later known as Augustus – brought the final civil war of the Roman Republic to an end by defeating Mark Antony and Cleopatra in The Battle of Actium. This ushered Rome into the longest period of relative peace in Europe – Pax Romana – and the status of freedom was restored.

By performing tasks, you’ll shed light on bits of knowledge, piecing them together to paint a
picture of Roman life at the epochal height of this civilization, during the 1st century.

Visiting the Forum of Augustus in Rome, will never be the same…
